Date: Sunday, August 4th, 11am-4pm

This year's GrassWorks Annual Picnic will be held at Drew Carlson's beautiful farmstead in Rio, WI. Come learn from Drew's journey, walk his pastures, and hear about the farmstead’s history and the unique challenges they face, including revitalizing sandy, degraded soils.

We’ll also have experts in grazing for grassland bird habitat and silvopasture joining us to share their knowledge. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and enjoy a wonderful day with fellow graziers.

- Ashley Steinke, Audubon Grassland Ecologist shares on grazing for grassland bird habitat

- Chuck Anderas, Michael Fields Institute Associate Policy Director talks about how to engage with grazing advocacy
